What motivates you to run/walk? Food motivates me to run How many races have you participated in? 60-70 What age did you start running/walking for fun & competitively? Started at age 13, at the encouragement of a friend. Ran track. Came in last place every time. Dabbled only track, cross country, and soccer throughout high school. Very terrible at sports, but the practices and meets allowed me to escape an abusive home environment. Favorite place to run/walk? I like running outside, on pavement. Favorite local race? Run of Luck & Blazin' Glazin' Race Farthest you have traveled to do a race? Cincinnati for the Flying Pig Half Marathon Favorite race distance? 5k, because it’s over somewhat quickly Favorite race memory? Crewing a friend at Tunnel Hill. I ran 9 miles of it—yuck Funniest race memory? Scaring children in the yeti costume. Favorite pre & post-race meal/drink? 5K-coffee and water Half-whole wheat toast and a banana. Also Coffee Post- BEER What is your favorite brand of running shoe? Saucony Ride How many miles do you run/walk a week? 10-20 What are your future goals for running/walking? Just to keep moving as long as my defective body will let me (I have degenerated discs in my spine, and hypothyroidism). Favorite time of day to run?
